Banana as an egg substitute in baking

Once in the blue moon; you will find an oddity in the natural world. The same happens with bananas and eggs. The complex recipes we usually follow are little to debate. However, a streak of nature has enabled a replacement for eggs for our nutritious friend, Banana. So, if you are out of eggs, you can always use bananas. Interesting, isn’t it?

Follow the 1: 1: 1: 1 rule!

A basic cake made of four ingredients – sugar, butter, flour and eggs! By using equal amounts (in weight) of each of these ingredients, you will be able to make a perfect cake. Do you know that a pound cake got its name because it is made up of one pound of each of these ingredients? Interesting right?

Remove Eggshell with one finger.

This one is easy. We’ve all faced it. You crack, and a piece of broken shells falls into the bowl. To get the Eggshell out, just put your finger in water, then place it near the broken piece. The piece will immediately stick to your finger. Yes, it works!

Out of food coloring?

Use Jell-O! In a glass or a bowl, mix a 3-ounce of Jell-O, 2/3 cup white sugar, one egg white, and one teaspoon vanilla extract. While mixing at a medium speed, slowly and slowly add a cup of boiling water. Once all the water is added, mix on high speed for five minutes and add a colorful and delicious frosting to top any cake!

Turn marshmallow into the frosting

Ran out of frost? Do not waste time and money at the store. Marshmallows, if you make them work, make a creative and easy icing fix. Soak your marshmallows in water so that they don’t come off, then place some on each cookie when they have three to five minutes left to bake. Once they start melting, do not rush too much, take out the cake and spread your “homemade” frosting with a spoon. Make sure the marshmallows are not brown; otherwise, they do not spread easily.

No rolling pin? No problem

Wine and liquor bottles make great choices for rolling pins. Simply wipe them down, dry them completely, and cover them in flour as you would a normal rolling pin. You can also wrap the bottle in parchment paper to be extra clean.

Decorate the cake with cookies cutter

Put the decorative cookie cutter softly on top of the frosted cake. Just fill the cookie cutter with enough confetti or sprinkles to cover the icing on the cake, to prevent spilling by gently pressing them when the cookie-cutter is removed. Result? A perfectly shaped sprinkle decoration on your cake.

Homemade Whipped Cream

Mix some homemade whipped cream by adding heavy cream about three-quarters of the way. Add a tablespoon of sugar, tighten the lid, and shake vigorously for about three minutes.

Even out your cake before layering

Many times, even when you follow the recipe completely, a cake will not turn out as expected. There could be a number of factors accountable for it. Stacking layers to create a layer cake is tricky, but with the correct planning, even with cake slices, it is completely remarkable. Just take your baked, cooled cake, and place the floss of both your hands on top of your cake. Hold the floss horizontally and cross it through the cake. This will cut off the top, rugged layer, leaving just a smooth, flat top to begin your layering.
