Miami moms are sick of cooking. These restaurants have the Mother’s Day menu covered

If there’s one thing we know, it’s that your mother deserves the best this Mother’s Day.

You can’t take her out to brunch or dinner due to the coronavirus pandemic and stay-at-home rules. But you can bring brunch or dinner to her on May 10.

Maybe the view from your kitchen isn’t quite as impressive as a waterfront table, but after a few mimosas and some lobster, Mom isn’t going to mind where she is.

800 Degrees Woodfired Kitchen

All orders of $65 or more at this spot famous for its pizza and rotisserie chicken come with a free bottle of Dwyane Wade’s Three by Wade Rosé on May 9 and 10.

Ariete and Navé

Order from a family style menu with two appetizers, two entrees, two sides and one dessert (including favorites like cauliflower soup with lemon croutons, oven roasted turbot with salsa verde and filet mignon). Discounted wine and sangria available.

Caja Caliente

Mother-daughter duo Mika and Lupita Leon are serving two brunch packages. One involves champagne, flowers and disco volador pancakes ($30); the other is a breakfast epanada with bacon, egg and cheese plus arroz con pollo ($24 per person)

Casa D’Angelo

The Italian favorite has a special Mother’s Day-only menu that includes twin lobster tails over risotto, snapper livornese and short ribs ravioli with artichokes. Main dishes range from $24-$44 with dessert and wine options available.

Doma

This Wynwood Italian resturant’s package serves four. Start with a burrata, parmigiano, proscuitto di parma and artisanal salame tray and Caesar salad, then choose one of the following: traditional lasagna, spinach and ricotta lasagna, cheese and mushroom canneloni or spinach and ricotta canneloni. There’s tiramisu for dessert. $120 plus tax and tip; $30 per extra person.

Ella’s Oyster Bar

Four-course meal includes chopped salad or oysters Rockefeller; roasted pork loin or Ruby Lee apricot chicken; truffled bacon mashed potatoes or creamed greens and Miami Vice bread pudding.

Grails Miami & Spanglish Craft Cocktail Bar + Kitchen

The James Beard Award-winning chef is offering a menu for four. Choose two main courses (roast salmon, chicken thighs, gnocchi carbonara or roasted cauliflower) and get two sides and Michy’s Bread Pudding for dessert; serves four. You can add flowers, cocktails or wine to your order.

Rusty Pelican

In addition to BOGO cocktails all day May 10, Phuc Yeah is offering a meal kit that serves three-four people for brunch or dinner and includes a bottle of sparkling wine and a housemade mimosa mix (basil, guava, passion fruit and pineapple) or a bottle of rose. $105 plus tax and tip. Here’s how to ball out on Mother’s Day: Pre order one of Seaspice’s Mother’s Day packages, pull up dockside and eat in socially-distanced comfort on your boat (you can also pick up without the boat, but that’s not as fancy). Choose from a three-course dinner menu offering items like spaghetti alla chitarra frutti di mare, pan seared Faroe Island filet, filet mignon or grilled lobster. Other family packages are available as well.
